Generally carrots is good for a short time from the refrigerator, if they have not done too hot. You can determine whether a carrot went wrong, because it is sticky and smells funny. Foods that are damaged faster sugary foods that they ferment and Protien rich foods such as mayonnaise and chicken can cause salmonella and really sick.
Although there is little moisture in it, it works.
